Litfield is a place for people to come together and explore the potential of the page as a place of discovery. We’re not here only to learn craft, but to understand that the craft of writing is intimately connected to the craft of living. When we attend to our writing, we are opening an opportunity to attend to ourselves more deeply, as well as attending to each other and to the world around us. We are creating a space of becoming.

Writing brings deeper meaning into our lives because it asks us to pose questions we don’t yet know how to answer. 

We’re here to be kind to ourselves and each other. To learn. To explore. Rumi said “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I will meet you there.”

This is that field.
