What Litfield participants are saying:

Carey Taylor
Litfield is everything I want in a poetry workshop/program: Exposure to guest poets and their work, wonderful craft workshops with poem examples from Danusha, an online community to connect to others participating in the program, and the opportunity to join a prompt class to inspire my writing and a place to read and share our work if we choose. In short, this program is the first one that has met all my poetry needs and desires in one place!

Margo Fowkes
I’ve learned so much from the craft talks, and I’ve had the opportunity to look at my writing through different lenses — Small Worlds, Temporary Kingdoms, Nine Lenses. I’ve also been introduced to poets and poems I didn’t know before, which has inspired me.

“Tee” Therese L BroderickÂ
I am amazed by the variety and frequency of the offerings. ..I almost always produce a draft poem in response to the prompts and I love Danusha’s breakdowns of poet-types; of large/small scales;  etc....

Deborah Weiner
I love feeling like I’ve discovered a poetry playground. The different offerings are like play structures, and it’s been fun to see — and begin to meet — other writers who come to this shared community space.

Sarah Clark
I already feel supported by the structure of the community- and that support always inspires me to actually get words on paper/screen... ...this Wednesday’s Monthly Muse got me writing! For a whole hour! That one gathering felt like a spark- and I had a wonderfully hard time falling asleep that night because my creative juices were flowing.

Teresa Williams
I’m really resonating with Danusha’s craft talks. They’re giving me fresh insights into how I can strengthen my own work and how to approach reading and writing poems through the different lenses she provides.
